Level 19 - 4K or not to 4K that is the question

The group minus Marcus gather to discuss another week in video games. DJ finally finished "Game of the Year" Horizon Zero Dawn, Cam decides to jump back into X-Com and after finishing Part 1 of 26 endings Avery attempts to slog through the much maligned Valkyria Revolutions. Elsewhere in news their stalk of Ubisoft and Vivendi, the new games released for the premium gaming services Games with Gold and PSPlus, the debacle that was the Easiest Platinum trophy, and Nintendo's brand new Mini SNES Classic. In lieu of a culture topic, the group discuss a general gaming topic with DJ school the cast on the dangers of a world without Net Neutrality verses 4K streaming.

Level 18 - Cameron's Return

After a rough E3 the gang finally reunites and decide to refresh Press X. DJ bemoans the Marvel v Capcom infinite demo, Avery finally answers Cameron's pleas to play Nier and Cameron explains his absence. Continuing to cover the gaming news of the week, the group tackles the remaining release catalogue of 2017 and quickly run down the titles that their most looking forward too later on. But a conversation about hellblade sparks an interesting conversation about Videogames and their ability to heal trauma.

Level 17 - Belated E3

First up, thank you to everyone whose been listening to our show these last four months and bearing with the to quote another popular show "the Garbage truck on fire" that is our operation. It's people like you that allow us to release a show talking about what we saw at E3 the week after the Big Convention came and went. Anyhow we talk, conferences, games, highlights, surpises(not many) and dissapointments of the show. Also Cam is still mysteriously missing and filling in is the local Xbot Jordan to defend the choices Phil Spencer and the company that Microsoft built made this year. Its an extra long episode so bear with the shenanigans.

Level 16 - E3 Begins

The Press X boys minus Cameron attempt gather once gain to talk the gaming news you want to know. The group gushes about their Overwatch sessions while Avery takes everyback down memory lane to talk about the Last Guardian. Will Fortnite be the group's next Overwatch? DJ makes a good case, while an impromptu discussion about Shenmue devolves into a long conversation about the fate of Square Enix's Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy 7 Remake. DJ rages about the Pokemon direct and Marcus laments the failures of Mass Effect Andromeda. Rapping up the guys recorded post the EA E3 Press Conference and give you their tardy but still pertinent thoughts about the showcase

Level 15 - E3 Adjacent

Up top, this should have been an E3 episode. Our bad. Anyway the quartet has reunited for some gaming goodness. Cameron has joined the Overwatch train and peer pressure has lured Marcus into the fold. Avery beat Mass Effect and struggles not to start another rant about its failure. Marcus and DJ get a little to excited for Tekken 7 and the group discuss the correlation between skin and evil.

Level 14 - The Religion of Gaming

Its a two jabronies episode of Press X, with original twosome Cameron and Avery reuniting for a little fireside chat. Cameron beat Nier, while Avery slogs through Mass Effect Andromeda prompting a discussion about the year in games and community join the conversation which left the best impression Horizon Zero Dawn or Mass Effect Andromeda. But speaking of Bioware games news of a new Dragon Age reaches the duo, and a round robin discusion of the breaking video game news of the weak. However a conversation about the newest iteration of Far Cry sparks a discussion of Religion's place in gaming.

Level 13 - The Arms of Destiny

The gang reunites for another episode of everyone's favorite brand new podcast, Press X. As the summer drought begins, the gang reunites with games of yore to finally tackle their vast backlogs. But as E3 looms near, more news about games we already know about begins to drop. Avery and DJ take a deep dive into Nintendo's hopefully next big thing ARMS and Bungee's greatly anticipated sequel Destiny 2. The group also rumenates about the tradeoffs of the all digital future in the wake of Alan Wake's dissapearence and Marcus throws a curveball at the last minute with an interesting question, which if we're honest would have been easier if we had time to think.

Level 12 - The Infamous X-bot

The gang returns minus one for another episode of the blockbuster Press X to Start. Despite the handicap friend of the show Jordan fills in to add some Xbox color to the house Playstation built. DJ talks about a MUGEN like game, while Avery gives some final thoughts about Bethesda and Arkane's newest release Prey. Later Cameron gives Nier a shot and the news sparks a lengthy conversation about the future of Bioware and Mass Effect. Jordan's inclusion prompts the group to attemtp to broach the interesting silent war between Sony and Microsoft and chaos insues. We're sorry.
