The boys are a little light this week, but friend of the show Jordan has returned to join DJ and Avery in talking the gaming news of the week. In what we are playing Avery talks some TellTale Guardians, laments his experience with Assassin's Creed and breaks the the surface of the Star Wars Battlefront 2 single player. After recovering from some technical difficulties, Press X is back in full force with another episode. The boys are back in town to hit you with another week of gaming goodness to keep you satiated at weeks end. In what we are playing Avery delves deep into South Park the Fractured But Whole and desperately attempts to explain the game to the rest of the cast, Marcus finally got his hands on Uncharted the Last Legacy, DJ struggles with Destiny's hardest levels of PVP and Cam is still playing Dragon's Dogma. In news the afformented PVP modes of Destiny go down, the Harvey Weinstein scandal spills into games and reveals sexual harrasment in the hallowed halls of Naughty Dog, more talk about Mictrosanctions and Loot Boxes and Sony Music decides to get in the gaming publishing buissness and didn't tell Playstation. But this week's biggest story is the closing of Visceral Games and the restructuring of the Star Wars game they've been working on for years. Piggybacking off that in culture the group discusses the place of Single Player gaming experiences in this multiplayer, open world, games as service dominated world. Its a good episode, a bit long in the tooth but filled with a lot of great conversation.

The gang is back together and this time Destiny isn't the be all end all of conversation. Avery finally plays the game he Kickstarted Battlechasers Nightwar, Marcus talks bout another episode of Telltale's Batman series, also Dragon's Dogma pops up for some reason. In news the group returns to Overwatch with news of a maybe a spin-off and a halloween event, a couple of video game lawsuits, more loot box talk, the group revolts against the new South Park and the Occulus Go isn't as cool as it sounds. Rounding out the show, the group has a deep dive talk about Microtransanctions. Everyone speaks their truth and we try and get to the root of where all this Lootboxes and Microtransactions is coming from.

So its Avery, Cam and DJ in the saddle and predictably we talk some Destiny, but to Avery's shock but Cam and DJ tried out some new games. Cam hopped into the old game is old FF9 and DJ played some game or other, but back to Destiny we tried the Raid last week and it didn't take. In gaming news the trio more Destiny Content, an updated PSVR headset, Street Fighter V's Arcade Edition, Overwatch returning holiday event and Avery continues to lament his fading interest in Assassin's creed.
